Q. What are your service areas?

A.   We are currently accepting clients in the Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach, Light House Point, Parkland, Coral Springs, Tamarac and Coconut Creek areas.

Q.   How do I sign up?

To sign up, please click here and fill out all necessary information about you, your pet(s) and your home; and we will contact you within 24 hours to schedule a Free in-home consultation.  

Q: Do you have insurance?

A: Yes. For your protection Leashes and Treats Pet Sitting is fully bonded and insured by the Business Insurers of the Carolina's.

Q: What kind of animals do you care for?

A: We care for most animals, including puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, and hamsters. However, we do not care for aggressive animals and/or animals with a history of biting.  

Q. How does your Pet Sitter get access to my home?
   
A. Before you depart from home, we are provided with a copy of your home keys, which are stored safely in our L&T Key Storage System. We will test all keys at our free pet consultation and make sure we understand your instructions for activating/deactivating your alarm system. Our key rings have no identifying information (just in case they are lost or stolen). During each visit, our pet sitters will follow a work order of instructions to ensure that we keep your home safe and in the same condition that you left it to us.

Q. How late or early in the day may I schedule a walk for my dog?

A.   Our last visit is scheduled no later than 8 PM, nor earlier than 7 AM.

Q. How am I billed, and when is it due?
   
A. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card and full payment is required in advance. Checks are also accepted and should be left for collection on your pet sitter's first visit.   Keep in mind that you may purchase our "Work Week" special, for midday walks, to take advantage of lower rates.    

Q: What types of medications can you administer to pets?

A: We will administer pills, drops and liquid medication at no extra cost.   We will not administer medication to any animal that poses a danger to our caregivers.

Q. I am a new customer, how much advance notice do you require?

A. We prefer to have at least 3 days advance notice. This gives us time to schedule a consultation visit and meet your pet.

Q. May I give my Pet Sitter a gratuity?
   
A. Absolutely. You may give gratuities directly to your Pet Sitter, or if you prefer you may pay it through the company. 100% of gratuities go directly to the designated Pet Sitter.

Q. Is the information I provide Leashes and Treats Pet Sitting kept confidential?     

A. Yes! We do not disclose client information of any kind to third parties. All client information is protected by Leashes and Treats Pet Sitting and accessed/utilized only in such a manner as to be able to fulfill our assignment obligations.

Q: Do you offer any type of guarantee?

A: Yes.   You want to know that your pet will be cared for just the way you specify. If you are not 100% satisfied with the service that was provided, we will be happy to address your concerns. We believe in lasting client relationships and so our service is only complete when you have returned home and are completely satisfied.

Q: Do you have references?

A: Yes. Excellent local references are available upon request.
